Defenceman Elis Sheppard returns to the Fire line-up for the 2018/19 season. This will be Sheppard’s 4th season in a Fire jersey after joining in the clubs first season at IAW.
Elis played for the club last season in Division 1 and was one of the clubs stand-out performers on D. Elis has won two titles with Cardiff Fire and is hungry for more success.
Director of Hockey Mark Cuddihy added “Its great to bring Elis back to the club, we signed him from Slough 3 years ago and I can’t believe it will be his 4th season already. His development has been incredible since joining us. He has added so much to his game and just keeps getting better. Even watching him skate a few weeks ago he looks sharper already. He gone from a young kid playing in his full senior season to a leader in the dressing room. Elis is a tough player, he’s always stuck up for his team mates on the ice and is a fantastic dressing room guy. We are delighted to have him back”
