Retired Jerseys
#44 Alexander Madge
Alex started playing hockey in Cardiff at a very young age. He played through all the age groups from under 10’s right up to senior hockey playing 117 games in total. As a player he was as comfortable in D as on the wing and he didn’t care where he played as long as he was helping the team.
The Fire retired the number 44 jersey worn by ‘Madgey’ in 2016 following a life changing injury on the ice which led to multiple breaks of his leg. Everyone at the Fire has been routing for Alex through his recovery and he will always be a member of the Fire Family.
