Cardiff Fire are delighted to share the NIHL1 South Division fixture schedule for the upcoming 2026-27 season.
The summer break is winding down and the countdown is officially on! The new season is just around the corner with pre-season preparations officially underway. We'll be back on home ice for our home pre-season opener at the Vindico Arena against Swindon Wildcats 2 on Sunday 13th September.

- Britton Cup Finals β 20-21 February 2027
- Playoff Quarter-Finals β 27-28 March 2027
- Playoff Semi-Finals β 3-4 April 2027
- Steel City Showdown Playoff Finals β 10-11 April 2027 @ Ice Sheffield
League
Eight teams will continue to compete in the NIHL1 South Division, with the regular season consisting of 28 league games β two home and two away games against all seven other teams.

Britton Cup
The cup competition will take place with a qualification round of two groups of four teams, with the first league home and away game between the teams counting towards qualification standings. The qualifying games will be completed by Christmas, followed by two-legged semi-finals in January. The cup final will take place home and away over two-legs in February 2027.
