Cardiff Fire are pleased to announce the signing of 21 year old Eliot Randall from Swindon Wildcats.
Eliot started his hockey career in Cardiff before moving to Swindon, where he played at U18’s and for both Swindon NIHL teams. Eliot made his senior debut for the NIHL 2 wildcats in 2016 and also captained the U18’s team that same year. The following year Eliot stepped up to the NIHL first team in Swindon the following season. At NIHL 2 Eliot played in 46 games scoring 23 goals and 18 assists.
Head Coach and Director of Hockey, Mark Cuddihy, added:
I’m over the moon to be able to bring Eliot back into a Cardiff jersey. He’s a player I have monitored over the last couple of seasons and have tried to sign quite a few times, so I am delighted to be able to sign him for this season. He’s a strong lad that moves the puck really well, he has a fantastic hockey brain and is very mature for his age. Eliot is going to be a huge player for us this season and I am really looking forward to finally getting to work with him.
Eliot will wear the number 4 jersey for Fire and goes straight into the line-up this weekend.
