Fire are delighted to announce the players’ player of the year Lewis Stevens has committed to Cardiff Fire for the 2024/25 season.
26 year-old Cardiff boy Lewis Stevens will begin his 7th year with Cardiff Fire, following a stand out season last term. Lewis scored an impressive 36 points (18+18) in his most productive points production ever for the club, resulting in him winning the coveted Players Player of the Year award at the recent Fire awards evening.
Head Coach Elis Sheppard continued:
Lewis is integral to our participation in NIHL1 and I am happy he has decided to remain with the Fire this season. Lewis is a leader on and off the ice, always wearing his heart on his sleeve and ready to give his all.
His last season was his most successful of his senior career, he is full of confidence ready for this season ahead. He skates well and generates great scoring opportunities. Welcome back Captain!
