Dylan Webb returns home on a three-way agreement with Bristol Pitbulls

The Cardiff Fire are delighted to announce the signing of 22 year-old defenceman Dylan Webb for the 2026/27 season.

Dylan first joined the Fire towards the end of the 2021/22 season on a two-way agreement with the Cardiff Junior Devils U18s.

Between 2022 and 2024, the young blue-liner made 58 appearances for Fire, chipping in with 19 points (7+12) and proving himself a reliable presence on the back end. During his development years he also gained valuable experience in NIHL1, appearing in 11 games for the Fire and the Deeside Dragons.

Over the past two seasons, Webb has been honing his craft across the bridge with the Bristol Pitbulls. He racked up an impressive 87 National League games, while splitting his time last season between Bristol Pitbulls’ National and NIHL2 teams.

Dylan returns to South Wales on a three-way agreement with the Bristol Pitbulls, meaning he will split his time between the Fire and Bristol’s National League and NIHL2 teams. This two-way partnership allows the young defenceman to continue playing high-level hockey while returning to his roots to provide crucial depth, composure and experience to the Fire lineup.

Head Coach Elis Sheppard on the signing of Dylan:

I’m excited to see Dylan return to the Fire jersey this season, having previously iced with the Fire.

Dylan has spent some time in Bristol playing between both the National level and NIHL2 level, gaining valuable minutes and experience to make him a more complete defender.

Dylan skates well and has a tendency to pop up with a big goal from the blue line. Having him reinforce our blue line will assist with reducing our goal against tally this season.

Everyone at the Fire would like to give a warm welcome back to Dylan! #13
