Fire’s all time leading points scorer Jordan Powell returns to the line up

Cardiff Fire’s all time leading points scorer Jordan Powell returns for the 2021-22 season.

Jordan first played senior hockey in 2008 and has scored 94 goals and 115 assists. Jordan was part of both league winning Fire teams and played a significant part in Fire’s success in those seasons. Jordan has played at all levels of UK senior hockey, playing in all NIHL leagues and in the Elite League for Cardiff and a loan game for Manchester Storm.

Director of Hockey and Head Coach Mark Cuddihy continued:

JP is a huge player for us and has been for years now. He was absolutely key to our success in the two league titles and put up big numbers for us. He’s been with me since he was 16 playing up from junior hockey and has always played a big part in our teams. He can glue any line together, he’s a naturally fit player that can often play a lot of mins in all situations for us. His hands and speed will be a nightmare for defenders in our league this season. A brilliant player for us to have back, and a natural leader in the room!
