Youngster Dylan Webb returns for 3rd season with the Fire

Cardiff Fire are pleased to announce the return of youngster Dylan Webb. Dylan returns to the line-up for his 3rd season after joining the Fire from Bracknell juniors.

Local lad Dylan started his hockey career in Cardiff juniors before heading off for Bracknell during the 2018/19 season. Dylan signed a two-way with the Fire and Cardiff juniors in 2021 and has since gone on to play 27 games scoring 9 points with 57 penalty mins. Last season Dylan played 4 games for Deeside Dragons on a two-way agreement between the clubs where Dylan scored 1+1 in those 4 games.

Head Coach Elis Sheppard continued:

Dylan really grew into his role as a top 4 d-man last year in his first full senior season. He played a lot of minutes, some of which were in crucial moments of the game. It’s great to have a defender as reliable as Dylan on the team.

Dylan skates well and generates much needed offence from our defensive unit which is great for the team. I’m expecting him to continue to improve throughout the season and help the team generate offence, but still complete his primary role as a shut-down defender.

Welcome back to the Fire family, Dylan! #FireItUp
