Cardiff Fire are pleased to announce the return of the Most Improved Player of last season Aaran Ragan for his second season with the club in 2024/25.
Aaran is another local lad that has played all his hockey in Cardiff. During his time at Cardiff juniors Aaran scored 80 points in 62 games.
Following his time as a Cardiff junior Aaran took some time out from hockey before returning to the game with Fire last season. A popular member of the team Aaran will step up to Division 1 this season.
Head Coach Elis Sheppard continued:
Aaran is a player who really impressed me last season after a lengthy time away from the game. He is committed and dedicated to the team and a player I rely on to change momentum with his tenacity and physical presence.
He is key on our penalty kill and I know he is relishing the opportunity to play a higher division. He has worked hard during the off season to ensure he is approaching the new season in the best possible position he can be.
