Cardiff Fire are delighted to announce we have secured the signature of exciting young forward Bailey Hind-Pitcher for the remainder of the season from Division 1 team Oxford City Stars.
20 year old Bailey began his junior hockey career in Bracknell, while also spending time in the Slough junior programme. Making his senior debut as a teenager in 2019 for the Bracknell Hornets in Division 1, Bailey scored an impressive points tally of 18 points in 24 games.

Bailey then went on to represent National League teams Swindon Wildcats and Bristol Pitbulls on two-way contracts with Division 1 club Oxford City Stars.
Since making his senior debut in 2019, Bailey has gone on to play 162 senior games in all leagues. He has been most present in NIHL 1 playing 80 games with 43 goals and 22 assists for a total of 65 points.

Head Coach Elis Sheppard added:
I’m delighted we are able to bring Bailey to the team for the rest of the season. I have played against Bailey when he represented an opposition team and I know how much of a threat he is. He brings size and speed to the line-up with a brilliant wrist shot.
Bailey’s points speak for themselves. He’s an asset to any team he is on and I’m excited to see him in a Fire jersey.
All at the Cardiff Fire are excited to welcome #34 Bailey Hind-Pitcher to the Fire Family!
