Fire add two to the back line for 2023/24

Cardiff Fire are pleased to announce two returning defencemen Ryan Fearnley and Jasper Quinn for the 2023/24 season.

Jasper Quinn begins his 2nd full season as a Fire player and 23 year old Cardiff junior product Ryan Fearnley begins his 5th season with the club.

Head Coach Elis Sheppard added:

I’m delighted to have both of these players back for this season.

Jasper provides some much needed strength and toughness to our blue line. He isn’t afraid to drop the gloves or deliver a game changing hit. He’s a player I’m glad I don’t have to play against. Jasper will be in his second season with the Fire and I’m looking at him to build from last season.

Head Coach Elis Sheppard continued:

Ryan is great for the locker room. He’s unique with some of his comments, but he doesn’t fail to boost morale of the team. Ryan is also another player who isn’t afraid to drop the gloves or deliver a big hit. I’m looking forward to working with Ryan again this season.

Welcome back to the Fire family, Ryan and Jasper! #56 #18 #FireFamily
