Cardiff Fire are delighted to announce that young defenceman Louis James will join the Fire full-time for the 2024/25 season.
Louis joined the Fire last season on a two-way with Cardiff U18s quickly stepping up and playing regular minutes. Louis is a local lad and has played all his junior hockey in Cardiff before stepping up to seniors last season.
Head Coach Elis Sheppard continued:
Louis really impressed me with his transition to senior hockey last year. He’s a very smooth skater, with very good defensive awareness, which increased throughout last season.
Louis is tenacious, he has a real desire to compete whilst having a keen desire to improve. He is a future leader and a great locker room guy.
