Cardiff Fire are pleased to again partner with Newport Safety for the 2022/23 season. Newport Safety provide quality health and safety (H&S) services for businesses, live events and TV & film production.
Newport Safety joined the Fire family last season and were present on the Fire player shorts. This season they have progressed their sponsorship with Fire and will feature on the Cardiff Fire jerseys.
Newport Safety offer on-site H&S assessments, written policies and audits for commercial businesses. Whilst also offering H&S solutions for private events, corporate events, public events and live events.
Newport Safety has experience in TV and film production from the biggest dramas and action films through studio entertainment to remote locations. Along with general health and safety, other services are also covered including tech recce attendance, filming day supports, provision of risk assessments and method statements and construction, scaffold and rigging build supervision.
Newport Safety was established by Daniel Hutchinson. Daniel started his career in live events obtaining many qualifications along the way including an FdA in lighting design, BA (Hons) in production management, L3 NVQ in occupational H&S and is currently obtaining a L6 NVQ and NEBOSH fire diploma. Daniel has worked on many live events and high-end television dramas in a H&S advisory role.
