The playoffs are coming! Fire will take on the Phantoms in a one-leg quarter-final this Saturday 30th March. Face-off is at 6:30pm at Planet Ice Peterborough.
The quarter-finals have been announced and we will face the Peterborough Phantoms 2 in the first round of the playoffs this Saturday. The quarter-final will be played as a one-leg knockout away game, with a spot in the Southern Finals weekend at Ally Pally up for grabs.
Tickets to the quarter-final will only be available on the door at Planet Ice Peterborough with doors opening at 5:30pm. Special discounted tickets are priced: Adults £5, concessions £3 and kids under 16 £1.
Unfortunately there will be no home leg in Cardiff due to the availability of ice time. As the Phantoms finished higher in the league they had the first choice of when to play the away leg in Peterborough with Saturday their only available option.
We are excited to see as many of our Fire fans bring the noise to Peterborough in our quest for playoff glory, and we can’t thank the Fire Family enough for all the support that we have been shown this season.
The four winning teams from the quarter-finals will make their way to the Southern Finals taking place at London’s Alexandra Palace over the weekend of 6-7 April. The semi-finals take place on the Saturday with the grand final on the Sunday.
