Sam Smith will make his Cardiff Fire debut this Sunday at Ice Arena Wales (18:00 face-off) against local rivals the Bristol Pitbulls
Fire have won all 7 of their games in cup and league competition and out the only team in NIHL with a 100% record.
Smith, who joined the Fire from the Dubai mighty camels has a great CV in British hockey. Being part of the Devils record breaking team playing with Stuart MacRae and Tyler Michel – Smith’s contribution saw him rack up 34 points (15+19) he also represented Coventry Blaze in the Elite league and Swindon Wildcats in the EPL.
Bristol are improved on last season and will be looking to take the undefeated record away form the Fire in what promises to be a fanatic game at Ice Arena Wales
