Cardiff Fire are pleased to announce that last season’s assistant captain Tom Stevens will return to the Fire line-up for the new season.
Tom has played his hockey exclusively in Cardiff, playing for the club at all age groups. Tom has 10 years of senior hockey experience and his signature adds another player with division one experience. Tom has been a senior player within the Fire squads for a number of years now and has been part of the leadership teams within the group.
Head Coach Elis Sheppard continued:
Tom is well respected in the changing room, helping keep the team grounded when needed.
Tom has great vision of the game, often providing insightful details into the game. He is a key element of our penalty kill. He also isn’t afraid to work in the dirty areas and support his teammates if needed.
