Cardiff Fire are pleased to announce that young local goaltender Ben Scanlan returns to the line-up for the 2025-26 season.
Ben, a product of the Cardiff Junior development, has been the backstop of the team since he was 16 years of age, playing over 120 games for the Fire.
Ben’s dedication to himself and the team has earnt him a two-way agreement with the Bristol Pitbulls National team.
Head Coach Elis Sheppard on the re-signing of Scanlan:
Ben plays with a competitive nature, wearing his heart on his sleeve every game. He has the ability to make remarkable saves and give the team the chance to win every night.
