Cardiff Fire are excited to confirm the re-signing of forward Aaran Ragan for his third season with the club for the 2025-26 season.
Aaran joined the Fire in the 2023-24 season and since then has grown every game he has played. He often contributed to changing the momentum or shutting down games last season, whilst chipping in with some goals against the top teams.
Head Coach Elis Sheppard on the re-signing of Aaran Ragan:
I am thrilled Aaran is back for the upcoming season. Since the 2023-24 season, Aaran has grown from strength to strength. He won the most improved player award in his first season back and was a close second for the same award last season.
Aaran is a physical presence in our offensive core. He can carry the puck well and does the simple things right in the games. He has excellent hands. Aaran is also effective on our penalty kill, often someone I can rely on to help in those high-pressure situations.
Having spoken with Aaran in the off season, I know he is ready and relishing the opportunity to continue to grow in NIHL1.
