The Cardiff Fire are thrilled to announce the return of defenceman Iwan Davies for the 2025-2026 season.
Iwan, a product of the Cardiff Junior system, is known for his reliability on the blue line and powerful shot, often chipping in with a number of goals on the PP.
He has been a key figure in the Fire team for many of seasons playing the second most number of games for the roster.
Coach Shep on the re-signing of Davies:
I am happy Spud has agreed to join the ranks again this year. He is a reliable figure on the back end, often quarterbacking one of our powerplays. He can also play as a forward, which gives the team a different dynamic if required.
Haven spoken to Spud during the off season, I know he has been working hard to approach the season is the best position he can be. I am excited to see spud continue to lead this season.
