Cardiff Fire are excited to announce the re-signing of last season's Coach's Player of the Year Aaron Moody for the 2025-26 season.
Aaron, a product of OHA Academy in Swindon, is no stranger to the league having played 113 games, whilst only being 23 years old. His experience showing last season, recording 16 points in 35 games, earning him fifth spot in the point rankings.

Head Coach Elis Sheppard on the re-signing of Aaron:
It’s great to get Moody back on board for this season. I was impressed with how much of a leader he was on the ice last season, often blocking shots and playing in the dirty areas. He has a desire to give his all, even playing with a fractured foot towards the latter end of the season!
He is the perfect team-mate. He played several roles through the line up, from special teams to a key defensive forward. He often would generate scoring opportunities or pop up with a big goal in a game.
I am excited to see what Moody can offer the team again this season.
Welcome back to the Fire Family, Aaron! #33
