Jordan Baber and Damon Butler join the Cardiff Fire for the 2015/16 season.
Jordan don returns to the ice following a break form hockey having played ENL in Cardiff alongside a number of the current Cardiff Fire players. Jordan was a promising junior player before leaving hockey to further his career. Jordan’s junior stats are impressive, Jordan played 58 games at under 18 level scoring 45 points (17+28) Jordan is a skilled player with great hands and a good eye for the net. Jordan will wear number 12 for the Fire
Damon, is a also a product of the Cardiff Junior system having played in the under 16’s, 18’s and recently ENL2. The 21 year old played 65 games in junior hockey in Cardiff with a points total of 50. Damon is a quick winger with hockey intelligence and is a level one coach. Damon will wear number 74 for the Fire
Mark Cuddihy added “I have known Jordan a long time, having played with him when he played up from the juniors to seniors, he’s someone I’ve always kept in touch with. I was delighted when he agreed to join the Fire. Damon is a player i’ve also know for a while and he’s going to bring bags of energy to our third line alongside Jordan and Dan Blakemore. Thats going to be a line we can use a lot and rely on. I’m really looking forward to working with both players this season”
