Cardiff Fire are delighted to announce the return of talented local prospect Bobby Ragan on a two-way with the Bristol Pitbulls National League team.
18 year-old Bobby started his hockey career as a Cardiff Junior before heading to the Swindon Academy. In the 2022-23 season Bobby made his way to OHA in Canada where he picked up 13 points in 22 games for the U18s OHA White AAA. Bobby since returned home and after a brief spell in Bristol’s NIHL2 team, he made the switch last December to Cardiff Fire where in 7 games he managed 6 goals and 3 assists.
This season Bobby signed an agreement with Bristol Pitbulls at National League level, where he will continue to play, whilst being on the two-way agreement with the Fire.

Head Coach Elis Sheppard said on the signing of Bobby Ragan:
I’m delighted that Bobby has decided to return and help bolster our offensive core. When Bobby came in last season he had a real impact on the team. He’s a talented individual who will fit into our style of play. He has allusive hands and a quick release. With his extra exposure to national level this season, I would expect Bobby to hit the ground running instantly!
Welcome back to the Fire Family, Bobby! #90
