Ryan Fearnley, Craig Adams and Ben Smith all return to Fire for the new season.
Ryan Fearnley will start his 3rd season with the club having come through the Cardiff junior system. 23 year old defenceman Ben Smith will start his 4th season, while Craig Adams begins his 2nd season with the Fire.
Director of Hockey and Head Coach Mark Cuddihy added:
Another 3 great guys back for this season. Ben will play a part time roll for us this season due to work commitments, he’s a good quality defenceman that moves really well, he’s been with us for some time now and we know what he adds to this team. I’m really looking forward to seeing Craig and Ryan develop with us. Craig signed for the Fire 2 team from Cardiff Uni and put up 4 assists in his 8 games, this earned Craig a call up to the D1 team and he proved a very reliable player for us. He’s quick on his skates and follows systems really well. Ryan has had a bit of a stop start to his time with us over the two seasons due to injuries but I am looking forward to him having a good full season with us.
