Cardiff Fire are excited to announce that our fifth annual Pride Night will take place on Saturday 31st January at the Vindico Arena.
On Saturday 31st January the Fire are celebrating Pride in support of England Ice Hockey’s Pride Week when we host Romford Buccaneers at the Vindico Arena. Face-off is at 7pm and you can pre-book tickets HERE to save 10% before game day!
We are proud to stand with the LGBTQ+ community and want everyone to know that Fire hockey night is a safe, fun and friendly environment where the Fire Family welcomes you.
Pride Week presents an opportunity for the whole league to highlight, embrace and celebrate diversity. It provides everyone in the sport the chance to demonstrate their support and inclusion of people from all walks of life, no matter their gender or sexual orientation.
The commitment on and off the ice in previous years has been amazing, and has seen players wearing pride themed jerseys and use colourful pride stick tape, as well as fans showing their support with lots of colour and pride flags in the stands.

England Ice Hockey (EIH) Chief Executive Officer Grant King said:
Pride Week has become a key fixture of the EIH calendar. It’s an important opportunity to raise awareness and understanding around diversity and inclusion, and to reinforce that our sport and venues should be welcoming and safe for everyone – on and off the ice.
While Pride Week is a highlight, our commitment to inclusion is year-round. We can’t wait to share initiatives and stories from clubs across the EIH community.
