Mark Cuddihy continued:
I am really pleased to bring Stevie onto the Cardiff Fire board. I have known him since our junior hockey days in Cardiff and he is a close friend of mine. Stevie’s hockey career is outstanding, playing the game professionally as long as he did is incredible. All of us looked up to him and what he was doing at such a young age. He brings a ton of hockey knowledge to the table. Since retiring from hockey Stevie has a successful business in Cardiff. When Stevie reached out to me I jumped at the chance to bring him on board. His hockey knowledge coupled with his business experience is a huge asset to Cardiff Fire.
Stevie Lyle commented:
I’m looking forward to working with the Fire Family and also helping junior players through the Cardiff system to achieve their goals within the sport. From a personal level I am very excited to be back involved in the sport I love and pass on my experience within the game.
Welcome to the Fire Family, Stevie Lyle!
