Mark Cuddihy Added “It’s fantastic news for us to be able to sign Dix, he will be a massive help to us on and off the ice in the formation of Cardiff Fire. I’ve played alongside Dix and coached him for the last 9 years. He’s one of the few players that’s been in every team I’ve coached. He’s invaluable for us. He’s a physical presence on the blue line and a great play maker as his stats show,  a great voice in the dressing room and a real team man”

Dixon “Having been in regular contact with mark throughout my year away and talking to him about his plans for the cardiff fire i knew it was something I wanted to be a part of straight away. so when mark asked me to be a part of the team this year I knew it was something I couldn’t turn down.

I’ve enjoyed my time away but the opportunity to play on a winning team with the people I’ve learnt the game playing with was one I couldn’t miss. The team is going to be very competitive and will have the chance to win every game we play. I’m looking forward to getting back on the ice and pushing for trophies and promotion with a great group a people.”
