Experienced defenceman Chris Hart returns to the Fire line up for the 2021-22 season.
30 year old Hart re-joins the team following a short spell away from the game. Chris started his hockey career in Cardiff and made his senior debut back in 2007 whilst still a junior. in 2011 Chris signed for German team RT Bad Nauheim U20’s. The 2012-13 season saw Chris return to the NIHL set up splitting his time between the NIHL and Elite league Cardiff teams. Chris was also part of the title winning Cardiff Fire team and the National league team the following season.

Director of Hockey and Head Coach Mark Cuddihy added:
I’ve known Chris for a very long time, I played in the same team as him back in 2007 and coached him the following season. He’s exactly the kind of player we need with such a young team. Chris has a lot of experience in senior hockey and has played in all senior UK hockey leagues over the years. He’s strong and calm on the puck, he’s been skating with us since the rink opened and he’s looking very good. He’s in shape and ready to go. He’s a quality player and will also be a huge voice in our dressing room this season. He’ll be a real asset to us this year!
Welcome back Chris! #FireItUp
