Cardiff Fire are pleased to announce that Elliott Murdoch (23) will be back in Fire colours for his 4th season while Rhys Harding (23) returns to the game following a break.

Winger Murdoch has scored 27 points in 58 games amassing 359 penalty mins. Harding returns to the line up having been Fire’s top goal scorer in D2 during the 2017-18 season scoring 18 goals and 8 assists in 17 games played. Both are Cardiff junior graduates and have played all their hockey in the Capital.

Director of Hockey and Head Coach Mark Cuddihy continued:
Both Rhys and Elliott will be huge players for us this season. Elliott has been a key figure in our team for a number of years now, another popular player in our room Elliott’s game keeps improving and he is adding more and more every season. In Rhys we have a goal scorer, he knows where the net is and knows how to score goals. He’s had a bit of time off with his season off and then Covid, but he has been skating with us since the rink opened and you wouldn’t tell he’s been away. He’s looked really sharp and I believe he’s going to put up good numbers for the team this year.
Welcome back Rhys and Elliott! #FireItUp
