Cardiff Fire are pleased to announce the return of Finley Heywood and Thomas Stevens to the Fire line up, both Finley and Thomas played in the Cardiff Fire 2 team last year. Heywood, a Nottingham native, came through the junior system in Nottingham before heading to Cardiff for the 2019-20 season. Thomas Stevens has come through the system in Cardiff and has represented Cardiff at most levels including NIHL 1.
Progressing from junior hockey is last seasons Cardiff U18’s captain Niccolo Bovolenta. Niccolo stepped up to play NIHL 2 and 1 in the 2019-20 season aged just 16 years old and this season will be his first as a full senior player with Cardiff Fire.
We wish Tom, Finley and Niccolo good luck for the 2021-22 season and welcome them all back to the Fire family! #FireItUp
