Cardiff Fire are pleased to announce that Iwan Davies will return for the 2024/25 season and begin his seventh season with the club.
Defenceman Iwan has played all his hockey in Cardiff coming through the Cardiff Junior programme. Iwan has pulled on the Fire jersey 165 times scoring 101 points. Iwan has also represented the Fire in NIHL1 previously, playing in 33 games and scoring an impressive 21 points from the blue line.
Head Coach Elis Sheppard added:
Iwan is an asset on our blue line. He gives our offensive zone scoring opportunities a different dynamic and quarterbacks one of our powerplay units. He is able to play both ends of the ice and can make key breakout passes to transition the play quickly.
