The Cardiff Fire are delighted to confirm that Kristians Kasjanovs has agreed to re-sign for the 2025-26 season, marking his sixth season in Fire colours.
Kris, who initially joined the ranks at 17 years old, now at 22 holds the record for most scored by a Cardiff Fire player. Last season, Kris added to his tally scoring 4 goals and assisting 8 times for 12 points. In the Welsh Cup, Kris achieved 5 points from 2 games.

Head Coach Shep on capturing the signature of Kirs:
Kris on his day is unplayable. He can change the momentum of a game in a heartbeat. He has some of the best hands I have seen and had the displeasure in trying to stop in training. He skates well and has a keen eye for the goal.
I am expecting Kris to relish the continued opportunity in NIHL1 and be one of our top point scorers this season.
Welcome back to the Fire Family #26 Kris!
