Cardiff Fire are hosting open trials for players for the upcoming 2023/24 season. Trials will take place on Thursday 29th June at 9:45pm at Ice Arena Wales in Cardiff Bay.
Head Coach Elis Sheppard said:
We have assembled a very competitive roster. We are looking for a few final spots for the team and feel that trials are a perfect way of doing this.
Over the last few years we have recruited well from our junior system and owe a lot of gratitude to Jason Stone who we have worked closely with. Our goal is to keep a positive pathway for juniors who want to make the step into senior hockey.
The trials are also a perfect opportunity for players stepping up from junior hockey, interested in a new club, or players that are looking to return to league hockey to come down and showcase their talent.
I remember back in 2015 when I trialled for the Fire. It was one of the best moves that I made.
If you have played NIHL or junior hockey and are interested in attending the trial please email elis.sheppard@cardiff-fire.com for more information.
If you have not played junior or NIHL hockey, but believe you could be of a standard please email Elis with a brief rundown of your hockey history so far.
