Cardiff Fire are delighted to announce the return of 21 year old goaltender Ben Scanlan for the upcoming 2023/24 season.
Ben joined the Fire on a two-way with Cardiff juniors during the 2018/19 season, stepping up to full-time in 2019. Ben has gone on to be a mainstay in the Fire team playing a total of 79 games for the club.
Head Coach Elis Sheppard continued:
Ben gives us the opportunity to win games every time we play. Heโs technically one of the best shot stoppers in the league with a great reflex ability. Benโs game over the last few years has matured and Iโm expecting for him to have his best season to date.
