Our adult learn to play sessions got off to a great start with a goaltending special last night!

We have 2 more skating sessions coming up this month on Thursday 11th and 18th June. So if you’re looking to improve your hockey skills or want to give hockey a try, join our player and coach led sessions this month!

When they’re back home, Cardiff Fire’s photographer James Assinder and Deeside Dragons’ physiotherapist Robyn Crebbin are on opposite sides of Wales’ biggest hockey rivalry. But last month, they put the North vs South battle on ice to fly the flag together for Welsh hockey 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

James and Robyn joined the media and medical off-ice teams behind the scenes for Team GB at the 2026 IIHF Men's World Championship in Zurich, Switzerland and we couldn't be prouder to see the Fire and the Dragons uniting to make an impact for the national team 🙌

Alfie Stone: Two finals, two trophies 🏆🙌

A massive congratulations to our latest signing, Alfie Stone, on an incredible weekend of championship hockey at the National Finals at Ice Sheffield.

Alfie first hit the ice with the @cardiffjuniordevils U19s scoring a crucial assist on the dramatic overtime game-winner against Kingston to claim the title of Division 1 Playoff Champions.

He then doubled down on silverware with the @nottinghamicehockeyclub Lions U19s with a big 3-1 win against Swindon to be crowned the National Division Playoff Champions.

What a phenomenal achievement! Da iawn, Alfie 👏

Cardiff Fire would like to thank Todd Kelman and the @CardiffDevilsOfficial organisation for allowing several of our young prospects to train with them over the summer.

Training alongside top professionals offers an invaluable look at the elite practice, focus and dedication required to succeed. This experience will undoubtedly accelerate their development and strengthen the Fire as we head into the new season!
