Fire add 16 year-old goaltending prospect Brochan Evans on a two-way with Swindon Juniors

Cardiff Fire are delighted to announce the return of goaltender Brochan Evans on a two-way with the Swindon Junior U18s for the 2024/25 season.

Brochan joined the Fire on a two-way with Cardiff Juniors last year and managed to get some time in net against the Lee Valley Lions for his first taste of senior hockey. Brochan has played all his hockey in the Cardiff set-up, holding the net for the U18s last season as a first year whilst also making the step up to senior hockey.

Head Coach Elis Sheppard added:

Brochan is a real exceptional talent, who stood out for the Under 18s last season, not only with his impressive performances but leadership skills. The real backbone of the team.

He is keen to learn from the other goalies and coaches around him and encapsulates what it means to represent the Fire.

Brochan is the prime example of the Fire’s ethos of promoting young talented individuals, who with the right nurture will flourish.

Brochan will continue his development within the Swindon Junior Academy. I would also personally like to thank the Swindon set up for their assistance in ensuring this two-way is successful for the development of Brochan.

Welcome back to the Fire Family, Brochan! #42
