Captain Lewis Stevens returns to the Fire

Cardiff Fire are pleased to announce that last seasons captain Lewis Stevens will be back in Fire colours for the 2023/24 season.

Lewis first joined fire in during the 2017/18 season, going on to play 110 games for the club scoring 69 points. Last season Lewis became captain of the Fire and produced his best points outlay for the club scoring 13 goals and 17 assists for 30 points in 22 games.

Head Coach Elis Sheppard added:

Lewis stepped up and grew into the captaincy role like I knew he would. He’s a born leader, but not only that he finished the season with his highest points tally. His overall game last season matured and his on-ice product succeeded because of this. He wears his heart on his sleeve and will always give 100%. I’m glad that he will be leading the team again this season.

Welcome back Captain Lewis! #FireItUp
