Canadian born centre Cedric Racine completes the Fire line-up

The Cardiff Fire are pleased to announce the return of forward Cedric Racine for the 2025-26 season.

Cedric joined the club back in 2019 and starts his sixth season with the club. Prior to signing for the Fire, Cedric had played his youth hockey in Slough joining in the Under 16s and playing up to the Under 20s.

Cedric, known for his defensive hockey contribution and penalty kill specialist is a key figure in the line up.

Head Coach Elis Sheppard on the re-signing of Cedric:

Ced is someone who I have known since juniors and each year he gets better. He can play any role on the team. Not to mention he is key on the penalty kill and will give his all every game.

He is a player who you love on your team but hate to play against. He tends to draw penalties from the other team and isn’t afraid to go into those dirty areas.

He is well admired in the locker room, whilst being a big character.

Welcome back to the Fire Family #82 Ced!
