Goaltender Gemma Davies returns to Fire on a two-way with Bristol Huskies WNIHL1

Cardiff Fire are delighted to announce the return of goaltender Gemma Davies on a two-way with Women’s National Ice Hockey League Division 1 team Bristol Huskies.

Gemma has been no stranger to the Fire set-up, having trained with the team for several years. Last year saw Gemma join the goaltending team at the club, playing 4 games against Basingstoke, Lee Valley, Streatham and Haringey with an impressive 94.4% save average. Gemma also played 11 times for the Huskies in WNIHL1 last season with a 96% save average.

Head Coach Elis Sheppard continued:

It was great to bring Gemma back to Cardiff last season after some time away. Her technical ability, along with her natural talent really makes her an underrated netminder in any league she plays in.

Gemma also gives the teams opportunity to win games. She has shown her skillset last season. She also provides healthy competition within our goalie ranks.

Welcome back to the Fire Family, Gemma! #96
