Cardiff Fire are thrilled to announce the return of promising youngster Robert Price for the 2024/25 season.
Another Cardiff born prospect 19 year-old Rob started his hockey in Cardiff before moving to the Swindon Wildcats Academy for 5 seasons. It was during his time in Swindon Rob had his first taste of senior hockey, representing the Wildcats against the Fire, while still a junior player. Later that season Rob swapped Swindon for a return to Cardiff where he has excelled winning the Coaches Player of the Season award.
Head Coach Elis Sheppard continued:
I’m delighted Rob is continuing to commit to the Fire. He is the hardest worker on the ice every game and plays above his age.
Rob is someone I can rely on to play both ends of the ice, and is trusted to kill penalties and generate scoring chances. I’m excited to see his development testing himself in a higher league.
